Good Old Days Festival in Pacific Grove

April 14 and 15 brings the 55th annual Pacific Grove Good Old Days festival. It is Monterey County’s largest arts and crafts show, featuring over 225 art and food vendors scattered throughout downtown Pacific Grove. Activities will include a parade, live entertainment on five stages, food, carnival rides, kids activities, a classic car show and old-fashioned games and contests.

Good Old Days is Pacific Grove’s premier community event. It kicks off at 7:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday with a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast in Jewell Park hosted by the Pacific Grove Kiwanis Club. Each year, this event, free to the public, draws a huge crowd of locals and tourists.

The musical entertainment consists of more than 75 bands, performers and shows including The Money Band, Firefly and the Chicano All Stars Band. They will be performing on five stages throughout the festival. The local radio, television and newspapers will also be competing in the 11th Annual Media Challenge Basketball Challenge. This two day event has something for everyone.
