Foreign Language Association

Hola, Bon Jour, Buon giorno; the Foreign Language Association of Monterey County (FLAMCO) is having an open meeting. Anyone who is interested in foreign languages should attend on Friday, April 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

FLAMCO is hosting a "Show and Tell" at CSU Monterey Bay (CSUMB) on Friday, April 29 in building 49. The "Show and Tell" portion of the meeting will include presentations on past and present language events, organizations and more.

Felling brave; hop up to the stage and share a language-related topic of their choice for five minutes. Some topics already on the agenda include talks on the California Language Teachers Association (CLTA), the Monterey Bay Foreign Language Project (MBFLP) and a Japanese Speech Contest.

As stated on FLAMCO's website, "FLAMCO is an affiliate of the California Language Teachers Association (CLTA), an association of language professionals which sponsors activities that promote, support, and enhance the teaching of world languages."
