Robbery and Assault on Campus

A student in Resident Hall 211 was struck Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. as three unknown suspects pushed their way into the student’s room and stole a laptop computer.  


This took place when the student opened the door responding to a knock. The student was not injured and the suspects were said to have left the area shortly after.


In a Campus Crime Bulletin for the University Police Department (UPD), whitnesses have described the suspects to be three Hispanic males ranging in age from 18-22. More detailed descriptions were posted as:


Suspect #1 was 6'1", 200 lbs. with a short crew cut, red shirts, blue jeans.

Suspect #2 was 5'6", 100 lbs. had light skin, with a red hat and flannel shirt, red with white stripes.

Suspect #3 was 5'7”, 140 lbs. had dark skin, black hair, black sweatshirt, gray sweat pants.


The suspects’ vehicle maybe a silver, extended cab, lifted, short bed pickup truck. The make and model are unknown.
